Frequently Asked Questions:

What Covid precautions are in place?
The Buddha Prince is an outdoor event. While masks are not required, many people attend masked and/or maintain physical distance, which there’s plenty of space to do. Audience capacity is limited to 250 people per performance.

How long is the show?
90 mins/No Intermission
Come early to picnic on the grounds and eat Tibetan Dumplings by Amazing Momo!

What about the weather?
The show will go on, rain or shine, unless weather conditions make it unsafe. Weather-related information will be distributed on Instagram or Facebook. In the event of a weather cancellation, your ticket is good for any other performance.

How do I get there? Is parking available?
Our front of house tent is located on the south side of Washburn Fair Oaks Park, across the street from the north steps of Mia museum.  There is plenty of free parking on the streets surrounding the park and throughout the neighborhood.  For a fee visitors may park across the street in the Mia museum parking lot or 1 block away in their parking ramp.

Where will we be walking?
The show takes place at four locations within the park where it is set. Audience members will be guided along paths and maneuverable terrain to each location. It is in a city park, and we will be walking up and down slight hills and over uneven mowed grounds.

What else should I know?
Allow yourself plenty of time for parking and walking to the reception area, where you will find water, restrooms, and a food stand nearby.  Bring a full water bottle.

Will there be a bathroom available?
Yes! We will have an ADA portable toilet near our front of house tent on the south side of Washburn Fair Oaks Park.

What if I have accessibility needs?
All performances will have a golf cart to help those with mobility challenges. Be sure to add it to your cart, in addition to your ticket(s), when you checkout on this site. Though the play route is mostly along grassy paths, there is a wheelchair route with access to each play location.

There will an ASL performance on July 8th at 2 p.m.
