ABOUT ABOUT

The Buddha Prince is an outdoor walking play that takes its audience on a journey through nature while sharing the extraordinary life and legacy of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. Presented by TigerLion Arts, in partnership with master musician Tenzin Ngawang and the Tibetan American Foundation of Minnesota (TAFM), the activities will educate people about Tibetan culture, the Dalai Lama, and the refugee/immigrant experience through the performances, post-show discussions, workshops, exhibits and other outreach activities.

The Buddha Prince will perform publicly for three weekends in Washburn Fair Oaks Park in Minneapolis from June 23 to July 9, 2023. It will also perform during the Midwest Tibetan Gathering from June 30 to July 3, and for the Tibetan community celebration of His Holiness’ 88th birthday on July 6.
